CATALYST achieved an average HVAC energy savings of 57%

Great News!!!! The long anticipated Department of Energy (DOE) study of the CATALYST has been publicly released. Most of you know that the DOE commissioned the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) to evaluate the potential energy saving benefit from retrofitting existing Rooftop Packaged Units (RTU’s) with “advanced controls”. The study found that the CATALYST achieved an average HVAC energy savings of 57%. While we cannot guarantee every customer will see this level of savings, the report was based on field tests of 66 RTU’s retrofitted with the CATALYST across four different climate zones, serving varying facility types. The PNNL considered our competitors and selected the CATALYST for the two-year study. The CATALYST was chosen based on its comprehensive features and product “maturity”. You can view the full report here. Elliott-Lewis is the exclusive affiliate for the Catalyst Converter in this area.
