ELCO Flash placed first in the 10-Miler Corporate Mixed Teams at the 2011 Blue Cross Broad Street Run, held on May 1, 2011. ELCO Flash’s Team #97 finished the race with a combined average time of 2:53:23 to edge out 65 other teams in their division. More than 25,000 people participated in the event.
This is the fourth year the Elliott-Lewis team has participated in the Broad Street Run. In addition to their team score, team member Bill Steele placed 1st in his division out of 212 runners, Sarah Simonetti placed 3rd out of 290 runners in her division, and Shawn D’Andrea placed 9th out of a division of 775 runners.

Following the race, grill masters Jerry Franks and Frank Carbone, along with helpers Dave Matthews, Joe DeLullo and Lynn Prinz prepared a picnic lunch for all Elliott-Lewis’ fleet footed representatives.
