Elliott-Lewis technicians are now factory trained on Variable Refrigerant Flow Systems manufactured by Daikin and Mitsubishi. The ductless VRF systems have been around for nearly 30 years, but have only been used in the U.S. in the last decade. Invented in Japan, VRF systems are quite popular in Asia, Europe and South America. They offer a great alternative to traditional systems for upgrades and new construction because of their cost effectiveness and energy efficiency. The ductless feature makes a VRF system particularly well suited for multifamily buildings or other applications where low ceiling height may exist and disruption of tenants, students, or office occupants is critical.
